I planted red bell pepper seeds today.
First, I put the seeds in a pot.
Next, I covered them with soil.
Then, I watered them.
This morning I checked the pepper pot.
I didn't see anything.
Are roots growing in the soil?
Today I saw a green sprout!
A tiny stem is poking through the soil.
Yay!
The stem gets taller each day.
Leaves are growing.
My pepper seedling looks strong.
This morning I planted the seedling in the backyard.
The sunny backyard is good for the plant.
Today I looked at my pepper plant.
I saw many small buds on it.
Flowers will grow from those buds.
Now flowers are blooming on the plant!
The tiny white flowers are so pretty.
Hmm. The flowers died quickly.
But the plant has tiny green peppers!
The peppers are changing color.
Some are still green.
But some are turning red!
All my peppers are red now.
That means they're finally ripe.
I pick one and take a bite.
Yum!
