Robot looked around the playroom.
He snapped his claw.
"Rabbit has been gone for a long time," Robot thought.
Sometimes Robot missed Rabbit.
But most of the time, he didn't.
He liked being the coolest toy in the playroom.
On the floor some toys were playing.
The dinosaurs danced around, stomping loudly.
"Stop being so loud!" Robot yelled.
One dinosaur looked at Robot.
"But Henry is older now," he said.
"He doesn't play with us anymore."
"Yeah," a stuffed animal said.
"Playing on our own is better than nothing."
"I don't care!" Robot said. "Be quiet!"
The room hushed.
"Good!" Robot thought.
Just then Henry came into the room.
His younger sister, Hope, was with him.
Hope was shy.
She had short hair and wore hearing aids.
"Here he is." Henry picked up Robot.
Robot grinned. "I'm better than the others.
Henry still wants to play with me!" he thought.
But then Henry handed Robot to Hope.
"You can have Robot," Henry said.
"I don't play with him anymore."
"Thanks," Hope said.
She carried Robot down the hall.
Robot gulped.
"Henry doesn't want me anymore," he thought.
Hope's room was different from the playroom.
Robot saw building sets and science kits.
He saw a light box toy with colorful pegs.
Then Robot spotted something amazing.
There were several posters on the wall.
They showed a strong robot called MechaTron.
In the posters MechaTron flew over buildings.
He fought big monsters.
He shot lasers from his hand.
"Whoa, that robot is a superhero!" Robot thought.
