The baby Rocket Girl giggled and drooled.
Vanda hurried outside. "Rocket Girl can't stop me now. I'll go out and steal more money!"
Baby Roxy shivered in the cold mist. She began to cry. Orange beams radiated from her eyes. Her heat vision warmed up the mist. Suddenly Roxy grew. She was an eight-year-old again!
"Wow!" Roxy said. "Vanda's treatment only works if it's cold!" She looked around the spa. "I have to find Vanda and stop her from stealing."
She used her heat vision to warm up the tank. Then she picked it up and flew off. As she flew, she sprayed the warm mist over the city. Down on the streets, babies slowly turned back into adults.
Roxy was flying over her own neighborhood when she heard Mara.
"Rocket Girl!" Mara cried. "I need help!"
Roxy landed and saw Mara with a toddler and a baby.
"I'm so glad I saw you," Mara said. "I'm supposed to be a mother's helper for Mrs. Garson. But I can't find her. Her two-year-old is here, and so is this mystery baby! What should I do?"
Roxy sprayed the baby with the warm mist. The baby turned into a grown woman.
"Mrs. Garson!" Mara cried.
Mrs. Garson looked confused. "What happened to me?"
"Don't worry, Mrs. Garson," Roxy said. "You're fine now!"
Roxy took off again. She turned more babies back into adults. Then her super ears heard an alarm going off across town. Roxy flew toward the sound. Vanda was running out of a bank with bags of money.
Roxy used her super breath to cool down the tank. She swooped at Vanda. She sprayed cold mist. Vanda grew small. "Goo-goo, ga-ga!"
Roxy scooped up the baby Vanda and flew off.
Terrell and Jack were playing soccer.
"I see Rocket Girl!" Terrell said.
Jack gasped. "She's carrying a baby!"
Back at Metro City Plumbing Supply, Roxy heated up the tank again. Then she sprayed the Detective Smith and Mr. Copper babies. They turned back into adults.
"Thanks, Rocket Girl!" Detective Smith said. "Being a baby was terrible!"
Roxy handed him the baby Vanda. "You can take this baby to jail, Detective!"
That evening Roxy and her friends were playing a board game.
"How was your job, Mara?" Roxy asked.
"It was great," Mara said. "I saw Rocket Girl!"
"Wow!" Roxy pretended to be surprised.
"I saw her too," Terrell said. "She was babysitting."
"Really?" Roxy shrugged. "That’s odd."
Terrell gave her a suspicious look. "Yes, it was very odd."
