Let's see what's happening with Polly and Jack.
Are they still in the forest?
Jack: Look! The birds are following us!
Polly: They're eating all the cracker crumbs!
Jack: Uh-oh. How will we get out of the forest?
Polly: There's a house.
Maybe someone can help us.
Jack: The house is made of candies.
Polly: And cookies. Yum!
Jack: Polly! Don't eat the house!
Polly: Try some, Jack.
Witch: Who's out there?
Are you eating my house?
Jack: Sorry. We're lost.
Polly: And hungry!
Witch: Come inside. I'll take care of you.
Jack: Thank you.
Witch: Have some soup.
Jack: Mmm. This soup is good.
Witch: I can't see or hear well.
But I'm a very good cook—and witch!
Jack: Huh?
Polly: I'm sooo sleepy.
Jack: Polly! Wake up, Polly!
Polly: Jack, why are you in that cage?
Jack: The witch put me in here!
Uh-oh. The witch locked Jack in a cage.
Will she lock up Polly too?
