Danny: We have to get those guys!
Brad: I agree with you, but what can we do?
Danny: Your dad is a famous scientist. You must get some ideas from him.
Brad: Well . . .
대니: 그 녀석들을 혼내 줘야 해!

Danny: Hee-hee! I knew it! You have been working on something top secret. What is that?
Brad: I don't like to brag, but . . . It's a paper-clip shooter!
대니: 히-히! 그럴 줄 알았어! 너 뭔가를 일급 비밀로 만들고 있었구나. 그게 뭐니?
브래드: 허풍떨기는 싫지만……. 이건 클립 발사기야!
Danny: A paper-clip shooter? How is that going to help?
Brad: Watch! Pretty cool, huh?
Danny: That won’t hurt a fly!
대니: 클립 발사기라고?! 그게 어떻게 도움이 되는데?
브래드: 봐! 멋있지?
대니: 그건 파리도 안 아파할 것 같은 걸!
Brad: It might sting if it hit you.
Danny: We don't need to sting those bullies! We need to defeat them!
Brad: What do you mean "defeat" them?
Danny: I mean something like sending them far into space!
브래드: 맞으면 따끔할지도 몰라.
대니: 그 심술꾸러기들을 따끔하게 해 줄 필요는 없어! 우린 걔네들을 물리쳐야 한다고!
브래드: "물리친다"는 게 무슨 뜻이야?
대니: 걔들을 멀리 우주 밖으로 보내버리는 것 같은 일을 말하는 거야.
Brad: How?
Danny: We could create super special shoelaces. When Chuck and Dave tie their shoes, the knot changes the laces into rocket fuel. Blast! Those bullies shoot high into the air!
브래드: 어떻게?
대니: 특별 신발끈을 만드는 거야. 척과 데이브가 신발끈을 묶을 때 매듭이 로켓 연료로 변해. 그리고 붕! 그 심술꾸러기들은 공중으로 높이 솟아오르는 거지.
Brad: That would be cool.
Danny: Or . . . we could invent a special potion and pour it into their juice at lunchtime. It would make them burp every time they open their mouths.
브래드: 그거 멋있겠다.
대니: 아니면…… 특별한 약을 만들어서 점심 시간에 그 애들 주스에 넣는 거야. 그러면 입을 열 때마다 트림을 하게 만드는 거지.
Brad: That would be awesome!
Danny: Imagine how funny it would be when the teacher asked them a question.
Brad: They would be too embarrassed to come to school!
브래드: 그거 끝내주겠는 걸!
대니: 선생님이 그 애들한테 질문을 할 때 얼마나 웃길지 상상해 봐.
브래드 : 그 애들은 학교에 오는 게 당황스러울 걸!
Danny: Or . . . what if we made a growth powder? We could put it into their shoes. Their feet would grow and grow and grow. Every time they took a step, they would trip because their feet were too big!
대니: 아니면… 커지게 하는 가루를 만들면 어떨까? 그 애들 신발 속에 넣어두는 거야. 그러면 그 애들 발이 커지고 커지고 또 커지는 거지. 발을 뗄 때마다 발이 너무 크니까 걸려 넘어지는 거야!
Mom: Well, I'm glad to see you boys are having so much fun.
Danny: Hi, Mrs. Joseph.
Mom: Hello, Danny. I brought you some milk and cookies.
Brad: We're thinking up evil plans, Mom.
엄마: 음, 너희들이 재미있게 노는 걸 보니 좋구나.
대니: 안녕하세요, 조셉 아주머니.
엄마: 안녕, 대니. 우유랑 과자랑 가져왔단다.
브래드: 우리는 나쁜 계획을 생각 중이에요, 엄마.
Mom: Oh, I'm sure you are being very wicked.
Danny: No, no. Really. He means it!
Mom: I believe you, Danny. Have fun, boys.
Brad: I don't think she believed us.
엄마: 아, 그래, 너희들이 장난꾸러기라는 건 나도 알지.
대니: 아니, 아니에요. 정말이에요. 브래드가 한 말은 진심이에요!
엄마: 난 너희들을 믿는단다, 대니. 재미있게 놀아라, 얘들아.
브래드: 엄마는 우리 말을 안 믿으시는 것 같아.
Danny: Why not?
Brad: Because we're too nice. We're not big enough to be mean.
Danny: We need to bring those bullies down to size!
Brad: Down to size . . . Hmm.
대니: 왜 안 믿으시는 거지?
브래드: 우리가 너무 착한 애들이라 그렇지. 못되게 굴 만큼 크지 않잖아.
대니: 그 심술꾸러기들을 알맞는 크기로 줄일 필요가 있어!
브래드: 알맞는 크기로 줄인다고…… 흠.
Danny: What are you thinking?
Brad: Well . . . we could . . . I think we could shrink them.
Danny: Shrink them? How?
Brad: I found this the other day. It’s from my dad’s work.
