Stepmother laughed at Cinderella.
"You?" she said.
"It can't be your shoe.
You did not go to the balls."
새어머니는 신데렐라를 비웃었어요.

The messenger looked at Cinderella.
She was dressed in rags but . . .
The messenger had orders from the prince.
Every lady must try on the shoe.

Cinderella took a deep breath.
Slowly she slid her foot into the glass shoe.
Her stepsisters gasped. "It fits?"
신데렐라는 숨을 깊이 들이 쉬었어요.
그녀는 천천히 유리 구두 속으로 발을 넣었어요.
그녀의 의붓언니들은 숨이 막힐 듯 놀랐어요. "구두가 맞아?"
The messenger blinked.
"It's you!" he cried. "You are the princess!"
전령은 눈을 깜박거렸어요.
"당신이군요!" 그가 소리쳤어요. "당신이 그 공주에요!"
Stepmother stomped over to Cinderella.
"Impossible!" she snapped.
"You never left this house!"
새어머니는 신데렐라에게 쿵쿵거리며 걸어갔어요.
"불가능해!" 그녀가 쏘아붙였어요.
"너는 이 집을 떠난 적도 없잖아!"
Cinderella reached into her pocket.
She took out the other shoe and put it on.
Suddenly her fairy godmother appeared.
Godmother waved her wand. Poof!
신데렐라는 자기 주머니에 손을 넣었어요.
그녀는 다른 한쪽 구두를 꺼내서 신었어요.
갑자기 그녀의 대모 요정이 나타났어요.
대모 요정은 요술봉을 흔들었어요. 펑!
Cinderella was the beautiful princess again.
Gert and Trudy each gave a curtsy.
"We are very sorry," they said.
Stepmother folded her arms. "Hmph!"
신데렐라는 다시 아름다운 공주가 되었어요.
거트와 트루디는 각각 무릎을 살짝 구부리며 인사를 했어요.
"우리가 정말 미안해." 그들이 말했어요.
새어머니는 팔짱을 꼈어요. "흥!"
The messenger was smiling.
"You must come with me.
The prince will be so happy!"
전령은 미소를 짓고 있었어요.
"당신은 저와 함께 가야 합니다.
왕자께서 아주 행복해하실 것입니다."
Soon Cinderella was back at the palace.
Three days later she married the handsome prince.
Cinderella was really a princess now.
But she was still very kind.
곧 신데렐라는 궁궐로 돌아갔어요.
3일 후에 그녀는 그 잘생긴 왕자와 결혼했어요.
신데렐라는 이제 진짜 왕자비가 되었어요.
그러나 그녀는 여전히 아주 친절했어요.
So Cinderella invited her stepsisters to live with her.
She even invited Stepmother.
And they all lived happily ever after.
그래서 신데렐라는 의붓언니들에게 함께 살자고 초청했어요.
그녀는 심지어 새어머니도 초청했어요.
그리고 그 후로 내내 모두 행복하게 살았어요.
