Rapunzel stepped slowly into the library.
Prickle darted under a bookshelf.
Rapunzel tiptoed across the room.
라푼젤은 천천히 서재로 들어갔어요.
프릭클이 책장 밑으로 잽싸게 들어갔어요.
라푼젤은 까치발로 방을 가로질러 갔어요.
"Come out, Prickle," she whispered.
"Right now. Or we'll be in big trouble."
Rapunzel looked at the bookshelves.
There were so many magic books.
"프릭클, 나와." 그녀가 속삭였어요.
"당장. 안 그러면 우리 큰일 난다고."
라푼젤은 책장을 쳐다봤어요.
마법 책이 엄청 많이 있었어요.
"I'll look at just one," Rapunzel thought.
She opened a small book of potions.
"Here's the king's hair potion!
I mix this potion often."
'딱 하나만 봐야지.' 라푼젤은 생각했어요.
그녀는 물약에 관한 어떤 작은 책을 폈어요.
'이건 왕의 머리 물약이네!
내가 이 물약을 자주 섞지.'
The book had magic words in it too.
"Harvax," Rapunzel whispered. "Vaxogvax!"
She turned a page and gasped.
그 책에는 마법 주문들도 있었어요.
"하백스." 라푼젤이 속삭였어요. "백소백스!"
한 페이지를 넘기고 그녀는 헉 하고 놀랐어요.
"A changing potion!" she thought.
"I could turn Prickle back into a bird!"
"Rapunzel!" the witch yelled again.
"Did you find that horrible hedgehog?"
'변신 물약이야!' 그녀가 생각했어요.
'내가 프릭클을 다시 새로 돌아가게 해줄 수 있겠어!'
"라푼젤!" 마녀가 또 소리쳤어요.
"그 끔찍한 고슴도치를 찾은 거냐?"
Rapunzel stuffed the book into her pocket.
Then she scooped up Prickle.
She slipped him into another pocket.
"Here I am!" Rapunzel rushed into the hallway.
라푼젤은 호주머니에 그 책을 쑤셔 넣었어요.
그러고는 프릭클을 들어 올렸어요.
그녀는 다른 호주머니에 프릭클을 슬쩍 집어넣었지요.
"저 여기 있어요!" 라푼젤은 복도로 달려 나갔어요.
The witch stomped out of the kitchen.
"Where were you?" the witch asked.
"I found the hedgehog," Rapunzel said quickly.
"I put it back outside."
마녀는 쿵쿵거리며 주방에서 나왔어요.
"너 어디 있었어?" 마녀가 물었어요.
"제가 그 고슴도치를 찾았어요." 라푼젤은 재빨리 말했어요.
"밖에 도로 내놨고요."
"Good!" The witch nodded.
"We must make potions now.
I need some to sell at the market today.
And the king needs more hair potion."
"잘했다!" 마녀가 고개를 끄덕였어요.
"이제 우린 물약을 만들어야 해.
오늘 시장에서 팔 것이 필요하구나.
그리고 왕이 머리 물약을 더 원하신다."
For the rest of the morning, Rapunzel mixed potions.
The witch whispered lots of magic words.
Rapunzel listened hard.
But she couldn't hear the words.
나머지 오전 동안 라푼젤은 물약을 섞었어요.
마녀는 많은 마법 주문을 중얼거렸어요.
라푼젤은 열심히 귀를 기울였지요.
하지만 그 말을 알아들을 수는 없었어요.
In her pocket Prickle wiggled.
Rapunzel tapped him gently.
"Be still, Prickle!" she thought.
호주머니 안에서 프릭클이 꼼지락거렸어요.
라푼젤은 그를 부드럽게 톡톡 두드렸어요.
'가만히 있어, 프릭클!' 그녀는 생각했어요.
"Rapunzel!" The witch frowned.
"What's in your pocket?"
Rapunzel jumped.
Her arm bumped the bottles of hair potion.
"라푼젤!" 마녀가 얼굴을 찌푸렸어요.
"네 호주머니에 뭐가 있는 거냐?"
라푼젤이 폴짝 뛰었어요.
그녀의 팔이 머리 물약 병들에 부딪쳤어요.
The bottles tipped, and then . . . splash!
Potion spilled all over the table and floor.
It splattered Rapunzel's face and clothing.
병들이 기울어지더니... 철퍼덕!
물약이 탁자와 바닥 사방에 쏟아져 버렸어요.
라푼젤의 얼굴과 옷에도 물약이 튀었고요.
"Rapunzel!" the witch cried.
"Clean up this mess at once!
You spilled hair potion everywhere!"
"라푼젤!" 마녀가 악을 썼어요.
"이 난장판을 당장 치워라!
네가 머리 물약을 온 사방에 엎질렀잖아!"
