The baseball sailed toward Glen. He looked up and opened his glove. Glen leaned back as the ball flew over his head. But he fell backward, and the ball landed in the grass behind him.
Glen jumped up and grabbed the ball. He threw it to the infield, but it was too late. Huck had scored.

Wes Wheezer stood on the ledge of the big scoreboard. He added a run for Huck's team. Then he added an error for Glen's team.
Glen let out a sigh. "I almost had that one," he said to Ivy.
Ivy rolled her eyes. "Yeah, too bad almost doesn't count!"

At last the game ended. Ivy and Glen's team had lost. The players of both teams lined up on the field. They walked past each other and slapped hands.
"Good game, good game," everyone said.
Huck and Glen slapped hands. "Good game—loser!" Huck said.
Ivy and Glen watched as the Ucks laughed and high-fived each other.
마침내 경기가 끝났다. 아이비와 글렌의 팀은 졌다. 두 팀의 선수들이 경기장에 줄을 섰다. 선수들은 서로 지나가며 손을 마주쳤다.

Ivy turned to Glen. "Now do you want to get back at those guys?" she whispered.
Glen nodded. "Definitely."
They looked for Ezra as they walked off the field. But they couldn't find him anywhere.
Ivy spotted Willow and Clara. "Hey, have you guys seen Ezra?" she called.
"He was walking toward the hiking trails," Willow said.

글렌은 고개를 끄덕였다. "완전."
그들은 경기장을 떠나며 에즈라를 찾아보았다. 하지만 어디에서도 에즈라를 찾을 수가 없었다.
아이비는 윌로우와 클라라를 발견했다. "얘들아, 너희 에즈라 봤니?" 아이비가 외쳤다.
"하이킹 오솔길 쪽으로 걸어가던데." 윌로우가 말했다.
Clara nodded. "He looked kind of upset."
"Uh-oh," Ivy said. "Glen, we have to find him."
Glen and Ivy went to the woods.
"Ezra! Hey, Ezra!" Ivy yelled as they headed down a hiking trail.
"Ezra, where are you?" Glen yelled. They kept walking.
Finally they found him sitting alone on a log.
클라라가 고개를 끄덕였다. "기분이 좀 안 좋아 보이더라."
"이런." 아이비가 말했다. "글렌, 우린 에즈라를 찾아야 해."
글렌과 아이비는 숲으로 갔다.
"에즈라! 야, 에즈라!" 하이킹 오솔길을 따라 걸으며 아이비가 소리쳤다.
"에즈라, 어디 있니?" 글렌도 소리쳤다. 그들은 계속 걸었다.
마침내 그들은 통나무에 혼자 앉아 있는 에즈라를 발견했다.
"Whew, there you are!" Ivy said. "We were worried about you."
Ezra looked up. "I just had to get away from everyone. At least I got to talk to my parents today. They promised to take me to the Museum of Technology after camp ends."
"That's not a beach vacation at a fancy resort," Glen said. "But I guess it's cool."
"휴, 거기 있구나!" 아이비가 말했다. "우리가 너 걱정했잖아."
에즈라는 고개를 들었다. "그냥 모두에게서 벗어나야만 할 것 같았어. 그래도 오늘 부모님과 이야기를 하긴 했지만 말이야. 부모님이 캠프 끝나면 과학기술 박물관에 데려가겠다고 약속하셨어."
"고급 휴양지에서 보내는 해변 휴가는 아니네." 글렌이 말했다. "그래도 멋진 것 같아."
"Yes, it is, but what about my new nickname?" Ezra shook his head. "I'll be called Snuggy Wuggy for the rest of my life!"
"No, you won't," Glen said. "It'll only be for the rest of camp."
Ivy and Glen sat beside him on the log.
"Listen, we're going to find a way to prank the Ucks," Ivy said. "We'll make them stop teasing you."
Ezra sat up straighter. "Really? How?"

"잘 들어, 우리는 억스 삼총사를 곯려줄 방법을 찾아낼 거야." 아이비가 말했다. "걔들이 널 놀리는 것을 우리가 멈추게 만들 거라고."
에즈라는 허리를 더 곧게 펴고 앉았다. "진짜? 어떻게?"
"We don't know yet, but we'll think of something," Ivy said.
She took the candy out of her pockets and passed some to the boys. The three sat there, thinking as they ate their candy.
"Pranks are a big thing at camp," Glen said. "Last year somebody had their underwear stolen, and it was hung from the flagpole!" He chuckled.
Ezra looked at him. "Wasn't that you?"
"아직은 몰라, 하지만 우리는 뭔가 생각해낼 거야." 아이비가 말했다.

에즈라가 글렌을 쳐다보았다. "그거 너 아니었어?"
Glen shrugged and didn't answer.
A few minutes later, they heard a bugle call.
"Time for lunch," Glen said. "We should get going."
"Do we have to?" Ezra said.
Ivy nodded. "Unfortunately, yes."
They started back toward the lodge.
글렌은 어깨를 으쓱하고는 대답하지 않았다.
몇 분 뒤, 나팔 소리가 들렸다.
"점심시간이다." 글렌이 말했다. "우리 그만 가야 해."
"꼭 가야 해?" 에즈라가 말했다.
아이비는 고개를 끄덕였다. "불행하게도, 그래."
세 사람은 관리동을 향해 돌아가기 시작했다.
"Ezra, maybe you could build something to scare the Ucks," Glen said.
"Like what?" Ezra asked.
"I don't know, but try to think of something," Glen said.
Suddenly they heard a chattering sound behind them. They all turned to see what the noise was.
There, beside the log, was a raccoon! It held a piece of candy in its paws.

갑자기 뒤에서 이빨을 딱딱거리는 소리가 들렸다. 무슨 소리인지 알기 위해 모두가 돌아봤다.
