They putted their posters in front of their house. It said, " every case invited. $5 per case!" Most people ignored it because they thought kids were not good enough to solve a case.
However, kids loved it! The first case was from Julie's friend, Chole. Chole said her things were missing after she woke up in the morning. John asked if they could take a look at Chole's house. John, Betty, Julie, and Chole walked to Chole's house. Chole was about to go in when John said, " Hey! I found something over here! Come and see."
What John found was footprints. It was a clear footprint and it rained yesterday. The number in the footprint said 210.
Betty said," It must be a kid younger than our age. Oh! I know this shoe's brand. The kid in Julie's class has this shoes. What was his name?"
"Max."
Chole had an idea.
" How about searching the suspect with fingerprints?"
"Good idea. Let's try!"
However, there were no fingerprints. John was disappointed.
"Yeah, they won't leave fingerprints unless they are the dummest theif in the world."
