The next day was bright and sunny. But there was still a rain cloud over Vronica's heart. She thought that Ms. Brown's idea was good... but somehow, she felt guilty. Ms. Brown's plan was like this. Spread a bad rumor about Violet and let her feel how Vronica felt. Vronica thought that Violet deserved to get the blame, but Violet was like Vronica. Was it right for Vronica to spread the rumor? Then, a girl walked over to Vronica. "I'm sorry. I didn't know that Violet lied to us because Violet wanted all the attention. I'm really sorry." Then the girl walked away. Vronica was stunned by this sudden apology. As Vronica walked down the crowded corridor, many kids came over to her and apologized. Also, they said mean things about Violet. Like "Uh! I knew that Violet was lying because I saw her kick 4 guys that she dated!" or "I saw Violet copying another kids math homework!" or "Do you know that Violet is terrible at math? She got a F on her latest math test!". Just then, Vronica saw Violet ran into an empty classroom. Vronica followed her inside. Violet was crying in the corner of the classroom. She was sniffing and brushing the over flowing tears with her hands. Violet spotted Vronica standing at the door. Violet stood up quickly and glared at Vronica. "Now are you happy that I'm miserable? You are even more malicious then I thought!" Violet shouted as she pushed Vronica aside and ran out. All the kids giggled or laughed while Violet ran. Vronica felt sorry for Violet, but now Violet knew how she felt! But Vronica had seen pure hatred in Violet's eyes. What if....as Vronica thought of the worst thing that Violet might do, she started running. For Violet's sake.
