 "Daddy!" called Ellan. "Can you come help me run this vacuum cleaner?" "I'm sorry, honey, but I'm helping Martha do the laundery right now!" answered Mr. Wilson. "Yeah, and I asked him first!" shouted Martina. "Then mommy!" called Ellan again. "Sorry, I'm cooking dinner with Oliver and Anna! And after that, Liam asked to help him make the beds!" shouted Mrs. Wilson. Ellan sighed. It was the day which her grandparents came, and that's why they were cleaning the house. But it was hard living in such a big family. The house where they were living, had three floors, but seemed to small for 3 boys, 4 girls, and 3 adults. Mr and Mrs Wilson lived with 7 children, and a housekeeper, who also worked as a babysitter except on weekends. The kids were like this:

 Scott(17), Oliver(15), Sophia(15), Liam(13), Annastasha, (12), Martina(10), Ellan(8).

 If you ask if Olive and Sophia are twins, they're not. They were born in the same year, but Oliver was born on January 15th, and Sophia was born on December 28th. But everyone thought they were twins anyway, even though they always explained.

 Oh, and also, some of them has nick names. "Long names like 'Martina' or 'Annastasha' takes too much time to call it." says Mr. Wilson. "In this family, we cannot accept long names. So we shoud make them short." So that's how come some of them started to have nick names. Sophia was called 'Sophi', Annastasha was called 'Ann' or Anna', Martina was called 'Martha', and Ellan was called 'Ella'.

 Just then, "Ding-Dong!" the door bell rang. Martina and Ellan ran and opened the door, very excited meeting their grandjparents......... But the people standing on their steps were Scott and Sophia, who went to the shops and bought some ingredients for dinner. Scott saw the ex-pression on Ellan's face and said, "Huh. Thought we were grandma and grandpa? We don't look that old, do we?" Martha and Ellan giggled at Scott's joke, and went back to work. "Yeah, and anyway, grandma and grandpa will probably come at about 6!" shouted Sophie. Martha looked at the clock. it was only 4:55. Just then, Mrs. Wilson ran down the stairs. "Okay. Sophi and Scott, please help me cook dinner. And you kids," she said, glancing over at Martha and Ellan in a hurry. "Go back to work, and if you finish, you can have your free time." Then she turned around, and starting cooking. Ellan sighed again. She ran the vacuum cleaner all over the house and was finished at 5:35. 'Good.' she thought, puting the vacuum cleaner in the coner of the kitchen. 'Now I can watch TV until grandma and grandpa comes!' She ran to the living room, but Oliver, who had finished too, was watching boys skate-boarding. "Um.. can't I please watch TV? I expect that you watched plenty." asked Ellan. Oliver shook her head, his eyes still looking at the TV. "Nuh-uh. Sorry, but Martha just handed me this remote about 5 minutes ago." Ellan sighed and walked up the stairs, and started doing her homework when she heard Liam shout "Grandpa and Grandma are here!" Ellan jumped up, and ran down the stairs in her fastest speed to meet her grandparents....... "Ha-ha-ha-ha!" laughed Liam. "Hey, Ella! I fooled you!" Ellan groaned and stomped up the stairs, and lay on her bed........ Feeling so sleepy because she went skated with her sisters and brothers this morning until 3. She slowly floated asleep.
