The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe

Have you ever heard about another world behind a wardrobe? Or did you ever got inside a wardrobe and saw something interesting? This book’s writer, C.S. Lewis wrote a story about a secret world behind a wardrobe called “Narnia”. Think about it. Can you imagine a world full of talking animals and plants? Or even a Witch? And read this story’s title more carefully. What can you see? “The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe”. Can you imagine what this story is about? I read this story and I am now about to write a book report to write about how I feel about this book and how well I read this book.

This story’s main characters are four kids called Peter, Susan, Edmund, and Lucy. Those four kids went to the house of an old Professor because of the air-raids. And Peter is the eldest, Susan is second, and Edmund is third, and lastly Lucy is there. I can compare Oriana Fallaci to Lucy because they are both very mature, friendly, and responsible. My favorite character in this book is Lucy too, because I like that Lucy found the world Narnia and helped Mr. Tumnus and I even like her personality as well.

Now I will summarize the book’s content. As I said, the four kids went to the house of the Professor because of the air-raids. While the kids were looking around the house, Lucy found an old room with an old wardrobe there. She went inside the wardrobe and found a world called Narnia. In this world, Lucy saw a lots of snow and met Mr. Tumnus, the Faun. Lucy and Mr. Tumnus became friends and Lucy went back to the Professor’s house. Then she told Peter, Susan, and Edmund about the world Narnia but they didn’t belived it. After a while Edmund visited Narnia too by some accidents. He met the Queen of Narnia and came back. After when the four kids all got into the world Narnia, they could see that Lucy’s word was true. Lucy tried to go to Mr. Tumnus’ house again but Mr. Tumnus was taken by the Witch, which who was the Queen of Narnia. So the kids decided to save Mr. Tumnus together. However, when they were looking around, Peter told Edmund to go back to the Witch(the Queen of Narnia) so Edmund did so. And the three kids met the Lion named Aslan. Meanwhile, Edmund was with the Witch and the dwarf, and some squirrels. But the squirrels made the Queen angry so they turned into a statue. And the Witch’s sledge was now useless so the Witch, the dwarf and Edmund began to walk. However, Aslan, Lucy, Peter, and Susan met the Witch, Edmund, and the dwarf. Aslan roared very loudly and the Witch ran away. And the kids did a battle and they won, and they finely met Mr. Tumnus after a long journey. Finely the kids returned back to their Professor’s house and the book ended. Now in this story, my favorite part was Lucy finding the world Narnia. I was imagining that I was Lucy and I liked Narnia’s background. I feel like the ending is kind of a happy ending because the kids saved Mr. Tumnus, the Witch ran away, and the kids returned!

I think the author wrote this book because the author like imagining fantasy novel like this story(neither do I!). Also I think this book’s character, Lucy is very kind thinking about Mr. Tumnus even though he was a Faun.

Now for the conclusion! I think this story is really fun because I like this sored of content, fantasy and magic…Also friendship and even families. I think I can read it again, I don’t know when but someday. I will like to recommend it to my friends in Littlefox!
