Jeremy nervously shifted his left foot as he looked at the ground. Reginald finally broke the silence and spoke, "Well then, I'll stay with you until you manage to break out of Adelaide, you know you would eventually. Don't you?" Jeremy blushed as he said in an insulted voice, "Adelaide is different! I'm sure of it. I really like her for real this time. Don't regret that you haven't left me now, for I don't want to look at your heart-broken face when I marry Adelaide." Reginald smirked. "I doubt it." Then he added when Jeremy's mouth opened. "But I guess staying here might be a good lesson for you. Anyway, where should we stay while we're in Gwan Street? You know, when winter comes, we might freeze to death if we still stay here." Jeremy scratched his head as he started walking. "I haven't thought about that. Maybe we could ask your father to take us in." Reginald glared at his friend as he tried to figure it his friend was joking or not. Finally, he spat out, "If you ever go near my ex-father or mix words with him, I will never speak to you again, Jeremy Winston!" Jeremy held up his hands and said, "Okay, okay. Your father's out of the question. But than where should we go?" "Maybe to Adelaides?" Reginald said but quickly changed his words when Jeremy haulded his foot at him. "Ow! That hurt. So no Adelaide's either. But then where-" Reginald stopped talking when he and Jeremy stared at each other. They both thought of a person who might take them in, but they weren't happy of their decision.

"Seriously, Jere," Reginald said as he stared at the green door decorated with colorful confetee. "Don't we have another chioce?" Jeremy sighed as he fearfully eyed the door like Reginald. "No, I think we have to face it." Then with a deep breath, he rang the doorbell. The sound of a just born baby's cry swaped the whole neighborhood as the two boys winced at the noise. An elderly woman finally poked her head out. She smiled broadly when she spotted the two boys. "How I am glad to see you guys again!" she said in an exaggerated voice as she escorted them into the house. "I never thought I'd see you after you left these note at Mary's." Indeed, the two boys have been spending their days at Mary Louise's house, but they ran away in order to speak to Reginald's father the last time and run off to another city or town. They had never intended to come back, especially back to the similar old house they spent their whole week in. Mary Louise, who had generously looked after them had had a very similar interrior with her sister's, which they just incountered. "How would Mary be happy and delighted when I tell her you came back. She'd been lying ill for the last 24 hours, and I suppose who should I blame this for." the old lady said as she firmly looked at the boys. Reginald and Jeremy looked at each other. They both knew it. They had come into the wrong house.
