  What does it feel like to be locked not inside a place, but inside your own body? I exactly know how it feels, due to my not working body. I wasn't always locked in my body. I could remember when I just ran around with my best friend, Sally. I still remember the pleasant smell of grass and the glowing sun beating down on me. 

  I was just six when I had my accident, which changed my whole life - forever. I was walking with my mum, hand in hand when a nosiy car horn sounded from a distance. We just ignored it; at least I did and walked on. Then there was this horrible pain in my side and my left leg. I have no memory of what happened next. 

  What I do remember is me, waking up in the hospital. My dad was holding my hand, and was sleeping, resting his head on my bed. I slightly shook my body to notify that I was awake. I could never forget the look on dad's face when he saw me blinking my eye uneasily. He felt so relieved. 

  I later found out that it was a drunken driver who hit us, mum and me, and that mum was okay, except for her broken right leg. But the serious matter was me. I was first hit by the car, which gave me more injury - even more than a broken bone. I had 7 broken bones and now I can't speak. 

  It was a hard time for both me and my family. My siblings; old Jane Rose, freindly Luan, cool Wilson, mischevious Anna Jones, cute Stacey, mean Ian, and little Claudy were all nice to me, at least most of the time. The accidnet of mine were all a big shock to them. Stacey refused to see me, Luan cried all night, and even Ian had a terrible breakdown. I understand them somehow because even I can't get used to my new body. It's just strange how I should speak with my robot voice and go around in wheelchairs. I even have to eat, no, drink food because my mouth muscles were useless. 

  Even though we had a hard time, me and my siblings never parted, and if we did, we soon got back. This accident had been a serious pain to my family and me, but we overcame it bravely and now, we're very close. But I would never forget the past 5 years of my life, which was mostly covered with affliction and love......
