Black Mystery Episode 2

“Ellie, Oliver!” called Ms. Alina. 

“We have a problem,” she said. “a dinosaur fossil was stolen yesterday.”

“How do you know if it’s been stolen?” I asked. 

“Because it’s been stolen!!” cried Ms. Alina, 

“But, we don’t know if it’s just been moved by the workers.”

“Yes, so you think this isn’t a mystery at all. 

 But, if it is not a mystery, how come the CCTV was blocked 20 minutes before the fossil was gone?”

“Fine, I’ll handle this mystery,” I said.

 And now that I think, this was my best decision that I ever maked.

“Ms. Alina, can I ask you something?” I asked.

“Of course, dear,” she said. “What is it?” 

“Can you give all of the evidence, and the names of witnesses?”

“Sure,” she replied.

“Let’s go, ” cried Oliver.

“Okay, let’s go to the site and investigate in more detail.”

When I visited the site. I couldn’t believe my eyes, because there were a lot of people. 

More people than I expected. More than my first mystery since, it was a small case.

“Whoa, it’s big!” I cried. 

“Can I go and look at the dinosaur exhibits?” asked Oliver.

“Yeah, go first, I will go and ask the custodians about the mystery,” I said.

“Excuse me,” I said as I knocked on the conversary door. 

“Who am I talking to?” asked the custodian.

“Ellie Williams,” I replied. “Ellie Williams from Lupia.”

“Lupia? Oh, you're the detective who came to look for the dinosaur fossil!”

“Yes, I am.” “What can I do for you?”

 “Can I have yesterday’s video file of CCTV recording?”

“Of course! But you should ask the Professor to get it. Because she borrowed it from me.”

“Borrowed it from you?” I asked. 

“Yes, she said she needed to look at what happened.” the custodian said.

“Okay” I said slowly. “Then, where is she now?”

“Ah, she is in the office near the dinosaur exhibits.” the custodian replied kindly.

“Thank you” I said as I hurried off to the dinosaur exhibits.

‘I must find who is behind this mystery’ I muttered as I went to find Oliver.

And in another place, when I was talking to Oliver.

Someone named Leon Peterson had whispered to his assistant. 

‘The detectives are on their mark. Now, you should get rid of all the evidence you left.’
