  The Secret Garden is a famous novel. I read it because I had to write a book report at school. And now, I am writing it in here adding more than my school book report.

  Mary Lennox, a 10-year-old girl, lived in India with rich British parents. However, when her parents died of the epidemic, Mary grew up in her uncle, Craven, a nobleman in Yorkshire, England. Mary hated large houses, people, and, above all, wasteland, which looked gray and dry in winter. In addition, Mary, who is bored due to the indifference of adults and has become ill after staying at home, becomes friends with Martha the maid, old Ben the gardener, and European robin who is not afraid of people. In particular, Martha teaches Mary to jump rope to improve her health. Then one day, Mary accidentally finds a secret garden, which was taken care of by her late aunt, but was closed and messed up after her death, with the help of a red-chested robin. Curious, Mary, like Dicon, the younger brother of the maid Martha, grows the garden by sowing flower seeds and removing vines that she bought with her aunt's allowance. Thanks to this, the garden begins to regain its former beauty. And he accidentally finds Colin, who was confined to his house because of his poor health, believing that he would be a hunchback, and helps him become healthy and walk.And Craven, who was indifferent to his nephew and son, is also moved by the miracle that his son is actively playing in the garden. 

  I really like Dicon. I think Dicon is very kind. Well, Kinder then Colin. I really hate Colin because of his foolish thought about him. And he's hysteria. My school boys don't do like that. Some people can understand that, but I think I can't. And I don't like Mary's back behavior. I really hate that. It is like Colin, but garden made her much much better and now, she is perfectly healthy and pretty. (If I play at that garden, may I be pretty like that?) So I hope that Colin get better like that! And I know that Ben if grumpy but I like him. He keeps someone's words. I really like that kind of person. And about the contents, I think Mary is so poor. I think if Mary's mom and dad paid more attention to Mary, Mary would get more kind and nicer like Dicon. But instead her mom and dad didn't paid any attention to Mary. So I think that's why that she was grumpy at first time.
