리틀팍스

    (따로 단어나 문법 공부를 하지 않았는데, 지금은 9단계까지 자유자재로 봅니다. 그런데 9단계는 아직 조금 어려움을 느끼는 것 같더군요 . ^^;;)

6. 가끔씩 동기 부여를 해줘라

   (4학년때 Top 50에 도전하게 했었습니다. 정말 열심히 했는데 Top 5 밖에 못 올라 가더군요...근데 그때 영어실력이 엄청나게 많이 늘지 않았나...하는 생각이 듭니다)

7. 포기하지 마라

  (실력이 늘지 않는다고 조급해 하지 마십시오)

저희 아이(초딩 6학년)경우 월요일 부터 토요일까지 매일 습관적으로 리틀팍스를 하고 있습니다.

주중에 부득이 하게 못하는  날은 일요일에 보충합니다.

그리고 매주 영어일기를 씁니다. 처음에는 짧게 5줄, 7줄...이랬는데, 지금은...제가 놀랍니다.

아래 최근 쓴 영어일기를 올려놓았습니다. (최근 쓴 영어일기는 너무 길어서 읽으려니 끔찍 합디다...그래서 아직 읽지 못했습니다. 실력이 없어 원고수정은 하지 않고 올려서 얼마나 많은 오류가 있는지 저는 모릅니다. ^.^;;)

초딩 6학년인데, 고딩 대상인 테슬 3급에 합격했습니다. 그것도 전국 대상인데 상위 10%인 금상을 받았습니다.

어제(2012. 11. 24) 테슬 상급(2A급, 2급, 1급)(국가에서 인정)을 보았는데, 듣기는 아주 쉬웠다고 합니다. 당연히 리틀팍스 이외에 따로 공부한 것은 전혀 없습니다. 합격 여부는 한달 후.....(합격하면 다시 올리겠습니다. ^^:)

학교에서 실시한 말하기 대회도 스스로 스피치컨테스트에 사용할 원고를 작성하여 발표하고, 입상은 너무도 당연히 여깁니다.

리틀팍스의 탁월함을 알리려다 보니 자랑만 하게 된 것 같습니다. 하지만 저 비용 고효율의 리틀팍스 시스템을 알리려다 보니.....^^; 모두 학부모님들이 리틀팍스로 영어의 고민에서 벗어나시길 간절하게 바라는 마음에서 두서없이 몇 자 적었습니다.

다시 한 번 리틀팍스 선생님들에 감사드리며, 언젠가 리틀팍스가 어떻게 녹화되는 지 보고싶다는 아이의 꿈이 이루어지길 바라며, 이만 줄이겠습니다

[최근 영어일기]

Saturday and Sunday, October, 6th sunny day

My family didn’t have any ideas to do something or go somewhere at Chuseok, until last Saturday, the first day of Chuseok. It was afternoon before two o’ clock. My father was finding the place we would go, through the computer. He said, we would go to some pension, that is in the mountain. The pension looked beautiful and nice to live, when I saw the photo. Since it was Saturday, and also Chuseok, my sister was still sleeping. My father awoke her. My parents packed foods to eat at there and clothes, lotions, toothbrushes and so on. I changed my clothes and so did my sister. When we were ready, I turned off every lights in every rooms and computers. Then we went outside with our packs. We got inside the car. My father drove the car to the PEUNG CHANG. The pension we went is in the PEUNG CHANG. It took about three hours or more to reach there by car. On the way to the PEUNG CHANG was a little boring. I slept about thirty minutes or one hours later, since we left the house. I don’t how much I slept. When I awoke, I wanted to go to the restroom. I noticed that my sister was still sleeping. My father was driving to the nearest resting area. About five or ten minutes later, my father arrived at the resting area. I hurried toward the restroom. Then I looked for my mother, and on the way I met my sister and my father. When we met my mother too, my father bought spiced chicken for me and my sister. He also bought fish cakes and soup for him and my mother. After we ate all, we got inside the car and continued to go. On the way, we listened to the music through my sisters cell phone. There are a lots of musics in my sister cell phone. These are my sister’s favorite music. But this was also boring too, to me. When we arrived in front of some road, it was dark, even though it was only about seven o’ clock. This road led us to the pension. The road was narrow and dark, since the pension is in the mountain. That means my father was driving in the mountain. A few minutes later, we saw some houses. My father drove toward there. When we got off the car, it was a little chilly, since it was evening and a little high mountain. My parents talked with a man who would lead us to the pension room, while I patted one of the siberian huskies with my sister. Siberian huskys usually lives in alaska, siberia and other northern cold areas. These dogs are mostly used as sled dogs. But some people keeps them as pets. I think this man keeps these two siberian huskies as pets too. When my parents went inside the house to talk with the man, my sister and I noticed the dogs. One of them was lying on the bench, while another came toward us. When we patted, it licked and bit us a little, wagging it’s tail. My sister liked this dog and said it was cute. My sister even tried to take photo with her cell phone, but it was too dark. When I went inside the house, I saw that this house was a store. A few minutes later, a man led us the way to sleep. There were two empty rooms, and we had to choose one. My sister and I chose a big room. Inside was clean and warm. The bed in the bedroom was beautiful and nice to sleep. My family had decided to eat barbecue next to the pension. There was a table there too. My mother made rice and other foods that she packed, while my father made the fire and roasted beef, pork and sausages. I went to the store with my sister to buy water. Outside was not just chilly, but a little freezing too. It took almost one hour to ready the dinner. While my father roasted meats and sausages, I ate rice with my sister and my mother. At first the rice was warm, but not for a long time, because of the outside temperature. While the rice got cool in about five~ten minutes, the meat and sausages got cool in about one~three minutes. So we had to eat the meats right after when it was roasted. We also ate RAMEN. It was a wonderful dinner to me. Since the weather was cold, it was perfect to me. I love freezing weather. After dinner, we putted the bowls, spoons, chopsticks and cups into the sink. I ate well and was full too. My mother asked me to buy some coffee at the store with my father. She allowed us to buy some cookies for my family. Outside was still cold. About ten or fifteen minutes later, we came back to the pension after buying coffee and cookies. After I brushed my teeth and washed, I went to the bedroom and lay on the bed. It was night, before eleven o’ clock. I usually go to bed more later than one o’ clock, so I couldn’t sleep. And this bedroom was a little hotter than I thought. But it didn’t take very long time for me to sleep, about ten~fifteen minutes later. When I awoke up, I saw what time is it, through my mother’s cell phone, which was right next to the lamp. It was five fifty eight. It was Sunday dawn (a second day of the Chuseok). I went toward a door to see the scenery of the mountain. When I wore my jacket and went outside, I saw mountains with fog. There was no sun shine at the sky at all. I want to live at the place with beautiful scenery outside like this mountain. I like the scenery of the high mountains at dawn. I hurried inside the pension and got my mother’s cell phone, to photo the scenery. After I took a few pictures, I walked near the pension, until I felt cold enough. I went back to the pension and back to the bed where I slept. My sister was sleeping there. I lay beside my sister. I just wanted to rest there, but soon I slept. When I awoke, it was about seven o’ clock. I went to the room where my parents were sleeping. I slept beside them. When I awoke again, it was about ten o’ clock. I took a bath for about thirty minutes. My mother was cooking breakfast. My sister was still sleeping. When the breakfast was ready, I awoke my sister and went outside. We decided to eat the breakfast next to the pension again. Our breakfast was RAMEN and some kind of sushi. The foods were tasty as last evening. When the breakfast time was over, we putted the bowl, cup, spoons fork and chopsticks back to the sink. My family got ready to leave the pension before twelve o’ clock. We cleaned every rooms and changed our clothes. When we were ready it was almost twelve o’ clock. After I ate cereal with my sister, we carried our packs and left the pension I missed the pension. We drove a car and went to the place where two dogs were there like the last evening. I didn’t know why my parents stopped at there. My sister and I hurried toward the sleeping two siberian huskies. My sister tried to wake her. One of the huskies which was near to us, slowly opened it’s gray eyes. My sister gave him meat with bones to see the dog eating. The dog quickly bit and ate. We patted it. It slowly stood up and wagged it’s tail. Since it was noon, my sister could take photo with her cell phone, because the sun shine was bright enough. So she took a photo of the siberian husky. When my parents said we had to go I went inside the car with family. As my father drove, my mother asked me if I wanted to ride the paragliding. Because I had always wished to fly. At first I said yes, but my sister told me to not to ride it, because it’s expensive: one hundred ten thousand won. I thought about this for more than half an hour. At last I said to my mother that I decided I wouldn’t ride. But this time, my father said that I couldn’t miss this chance to fly. So I thought about it again. We would go to some kind of garden, where many people visit to see the plants. It took less than one hour for us to reach there, from the pension. The day was a little hot, so I complained about wondering around the garden, watching plants in this hot day. I don’t like walking very much, especially while watching plants. But my sister hated this more than me. She also complained. About half an hour later, my parents allowed me and my sister to buy some drink but just one. My sister bought lemon flavored soda for me and herself, while my mother bought sider for herself. My family went back to the car with these drinks. We ate cookies that I bought last night with my father, and drank sodas, while my father drove to somewhere. My father said to me and my sister that we would go to korean famous person’s house, to learn a little about this person. Hearing this, my sister and I shouted, complaining that we didn’t need to learn about this person, now. Besides, the day became more hot, so I didn’t want to do anything but to return to the pension. Because the pension was comfortable to stay, and wasn’t very hot, since this pension isn’t in the high mountain. When we arrived where my father told us, I said I didn’t want to go and stay inside the car and so did my sister. So my parents went, only, leaving us in the car. They decided to eat something for a meal, too. My sister and I wasn’t hungry, so we didn’t go with them to eat lunch. It was harder than I thought, to stay inside the car. It was hot. But my sister didn’t seem to care, because she was listening to her favorite music through her cell phone. I couldn’t endure this heat, so I opened the car door to feel some cool wind, but there was almost no wind. My sister told me to shut the door. She said she couldn’t hear music well. But I ignored her, so she closed the door herself. I opened the again, and went back the car. When my sister closed the door again, I opened once more and got inside the car. But after a minute, I couldn’t wait more longer. I opened the door and went toward my parents. I went to the restaurant where my parents might be in there. When I got inside, I met my parents. They had just finished their lunch. I went toward the car with them. When we got in the car, I asked my parents, where would we go next. My parents answered that they were going to let me and my sister to ride a paragliding. I said, “I told you that I wasn’t going to ride it.” but my parents said that they wanted me and my sister experience. I don’t know I much time had passed to reach there, because I slept, on our way there and so did my sister. When my father told me and my sister to wake and get out the car, I ignored my father and continued to sleep. But my father that to us, several times, so I got out the car. My sister was sill or pretending to sleep. I went toward a flat, large rock, and climbed on to it. The rock was comfortable enough to lie down and sleep. While I lay down there and closed my eyes, my father took a picture of me, lying on the rock. My mother was still awaking my sister, who was still inside the car. But my sister continued to refuse to get out of the car. So my mother got mad and shouted at her. Her voice was loud enough to hear from about ten or fifteen meters away. The rock I lay, was there. Finally I saw my sister getting out of the car, complaining that there was nothing to do. My parents went toward some kind of resting place, with two benches. My sister and I followed them. When we spotted the benches, my sister lay down on one of them and I lay down on another one. My sister and I argued to go to my grandmother’s, or my house. But my parents continued to wait, until it was me and my sister’s turn to ride the paragliding. My parents wandered at the field, leaving us at the benches. My father took a picture of the scenery of the field and the mountains that were in front of the field. The mountains were a little high and green. I lay still on the bench with my sister. My sister was still listening to music. A few minutes later, I sat up and looked around the field. There were a lot of various size and shape of rock. Some were big and flat enough to a person to lie down, while others were pointy shapes, long or small, not fit to lie. Behind the resting place, a few people were wandering around the field. There were small restrooms at the field too. Between the field and the mountains were grasses with sand and a small lake. I stood up and went toward a rock. This rock was flat and large as the rock that I lay before. While I sat on the rock, my sister came toward me, a minute later. My sister complained again, about my parents who brought us at this field and left us at the bench. A few minutes later again, I saw two paragliding appear behind one of the mountains. My sister seemed to notice it too. The paragliding continued to fly away the field. And when it stopped, it became bigger and bigger, which meant that this paragliding is getting nearer and nearer to the field. While I was sitting on a rock with my sister, watching the paragliding, my father came toward us. He said to us to watch the paragliding. He didn’t know that we were watching already. It didn’t look fun to ride the paragliding to me. I told my father that I wasn’t going to ride. But my father still didn’t change his mind. I followed my father with my sister. My father was going toward my mother. My mother was talking with a man who led people ride a paragliding. They were talking at some kind of table. When I arrived with my sister and my father, I told my mother that riding the paragliding expensive, and take long time, so I wasn’t going to ride. My mother said that I didn’t need to worry about money. My sister said that she was afraid to ride. When my mother said to me that it would take half an hour to ready to ride a paragliding and the rest of the time is for riding. Hearing this, I said that riding paragliding is a waste of time and money. I thought that we would ride the paragliding for an hour, and thought that the thirty minutes was a short time. My sister told my parents that she wanted to go to the restroom. She went to find some clean restroom, with me. I didn’t want to go to the restroom; I was just following my sister. At this field, there were a few restrooms, though none of them was very clean enough to use. I helped my sister finding a clean restroom. But at last, my sister had to ride a paragliding without using the restroom. When we arrived, the man said it was time for us to ride the paragliding. I had a little test with my sister, to know our height, weight, blood type and other thing about us. After we finished having the test and my mother gave the money to the man, the man led my family to a car at the sand with grasses and water. The seat inside the car was higher than most cars, but I had no trouble getting inside the car. My father, mother, sister the man and other two men got inside too. These two men would ride the paragliding with me and my sister. One of the three men drove the car toward a mountain. The man drove the car at the mountain road. It was narrow like the mountain road that led to the pension. I think it took about ten~fifteen minutes to reach to the place, that was almost top of the mountain. When we arrived there, we got out. I looked at the scenery of the clouds, sunshine between the clouds and land, from the high mountain. Everything looked wonderful to me. My father took a photo of the scenery. My family all watched at the scenery, until it was time for me and my sister to wear some kind of clothing. People have to wear this clothing to ride paragliding. At first, I thought that this clothing would take a long time to wear. But it didn’t take more than five minutes to wear this clothing and a helmet. I finished wearing, I saw my sister wasn’t finish yet. My father used his cell phone to take a picture of me wearing the paragliding clothing. When my sister was finished, my father took a picture of her, and both of us. After that, one of the men came toward me and attached some kind of seat at my clothing. Then he attached his seat and attached the gliding too. He told me that he would shout “One, two, three!” while we would run to the air. He said at three, we would fly to the air, and off the mountain. At first, I didn’t exactly know what he wanted me to do, so I didn’t run fast enough to fly. So at first, we failed. But then, I knew what he wanted to. After we readied to fly again I glanced at my sister. My sister was also readied to fly with other man. I ran as fast as I could, until there was nothing under my feet, but air. Running from the mountain to the air was fun than I expect. I couldn’t believe that I was flying at very high space. I looked under my feet. I could only see green mountain. I could hear and feel the wind. It was cool and I could know that we were riding very fast. At first I didn’t know how high that I was flying. I looked behind. My sister was flying too with the man. A few minutes later, the man wode paragliding with me, asked if I like to ride the paragliding like a ride at ‘Everland’. I agreed. I like to ride something high and fast. The paragliding got faster and then higher, and then faster and then higher again. This continued for a minute. I was dizzy a little and fun, though riding the paragliding like a ride had continued for only a minute. Soon, I saw a field where I waited to ride the paragliding with my sister. I also saw many houses, stores, cars, roads in every land. Everything looked tiny. I became boaring and couldn’t feel interest, since ten minutes had passed since we started to ride the paragliding. It didn’t take long to everything at land to get bigger and bigger. We were getting closer between the field and the mountain, where grasses, sand and a small lake were there. I saw my sister’s paragliding was flying in front of us. They landed first. A second later, we landed too. My legs landed a little hard on the sand. I stood up and removed the seat, and took off the helmet and paragliding clothing. I couldn’t use my right arm very well, since it got stiff a little. My sister went toward. She had finished taking off the seat, helmet and paragliding clothes. We saw my parents waiting near us. They went down the mountain by car, while I went down by paragliding with my sister. We decided to go to a fish restaurant and watch a television program at the restaurant, that my family watch every Sunday. On our way to the restaurant, we talked about me and my sister riding the paragliding. On our way there, I wanted to go to the restroom, quickly. A few minutes later, we arrived the fish restaurant. I hurried to the restaurant restroom and so did my sister. When I went out the restroom, I found the seat were my parents sat. I sat near them. And waited for the program to start. A minute later, my sister came and sat too, when the program finally started. While my family watched, a woman came and brought some fish dishes that my parents ordered. I don't eat fish, usually, so I ignored the dishes and continued to watch the television. My sister, my mother and my father ate the dishes. I think they liked these fish dishes. When the woman brought another fish dish, which was a kind of spicy soup, I grabbed a spoon. I didn't eat the fish. I ate soup with rice. When the dinner time was finished, the program finished too. We left the restaurant and got in the car. We decided to go to my grandmother's house, as my sister and I wanted. On our way there, we didn't talk much each other. My father kept driving toward my grandmother's house. My sister listened to her favorite musics through her cell phone, and my mother and I just looked outside the car window. It took less than an hour to reach GU RI, where my grandmother's house is there. My father drove to an apartment where my grandmother lives. When we arrived, we carried our loads and got inside the apartment. When we went inside my grandmother's house, I went inside the bathroom. A few seconds later, when I went out the bathroom, I saw my grandmother, aunt (my mother's sister), uncle (my mother's brother) and cousins were at my grandmother house. I sat down on the living sofa and played cell phone game, with my father's cell phone. My sister listened musics and played with her cell phone, while my parents talked with other adults, at the living room. After playing the game, I was hungry. I told my mother that I wanted eat something. When my grandmother heard what I said, she asked me if I wanted to eat meal. I thought about it and said yes. My grandmother gave me some rice, korean traditional dish: kimchi, sloke dish and meat dish. I ate them and drank water, while my sister watched me eating. It was a delicious meal. My sister said that she wanted to eat something too, so my grandmother made my sister's too. She seemed to like the foods too. After that, I sat down on the sofa again, when my cousins asked me to play with them. I just wanted to sat on the sofa, so I said no. But they dragged me to the room where they watched television. After we played a game less or more than an hour, my mother asked me if I wanted to buy ice cream. I said yes. My gave my sister her money and told her to buy the ice creams for me, my sister and all of my cousins. My mother also told to buy her's. We went outside, which a little chilly. After we bought the ice creams and returned, my sister, all of my cousins and my mother ate the ice cream right away. But I decided to eat it the next day, so I put my ice cream into a freezer. When my aunt, uncle and cousins left my grandother's house, It was almost o' clock at dawn. I brushed my teeth and washed my hands, face and feet. My family and my grandmother went to bed. The next day when I awoke, I saw my mother and my sister lying on the quilt, still sleeping. When I went to the living room, I noticed my father and my grandmother were awoke. I went next to my father, who was watching television. I watched with him. A few minutes later, my sister and my mother awoke. I grabbed an ice cream from the freezer that I allowed it to eat in the morning a day ago. I ate as I went to another room to watch television. My sister went to the room that I went. After my family watched the television for a few minutes, we said good bye to my grandmother. We went outside and got inside the car. My father started the car, and finally we came back home, on the last day of Chuseok. I was wonderful to stay at the pension in the mountain and having barbecue outside for a dinner. The scenery of the mountain at dawn and riding paragliding and flying above high mountain were wonderful to me too. I want to go to that pension and have a barbecue party outside again, on holiday such as christmas.
